President Donald Trump has lashed out at US television network CBS for its reporting on Ukraine and Greenland, warning the media outlet that it will pay a “very heavy price” for the report, which aired on CBS’s news magazine ’60 Minutes’.
Last Sunday local time, 60 Minutes aired two reports on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukraine war, and the Greenland issue.
Shortly after the report aired, Trump took to his social media account, Truth Social, to criticize the report, accusing it of portraying him negatively.
Trump said, “Almost every week, 60 Minutes presents the Trump name in a derogatory and disrespectful manner. This time, they have crossed all limits. They will pay a heavy price for this.”
