The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has termed the government’s decision to increase the price of soybean oil at the consumer level by Tk 14 per liter and the price of gas in new industries by 33 percent per unit as unreasonable and anti-people. The party has demanded the immediate withdrawal of the decision.
CPB President Mohammad Shah Alam and General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince made this demand in a statement issued on Tuesday.
